The 95,500 square foot facility will house the school’s Departments of Music, Visual Arts, Dramatic Arts, and the Centre for Studies in Art and Culture.
My areas of responsibility included acoustic isolation and attenuation as well as coordination of building code and structural requirements in a very complex retrofit of the historic “Haircloth” building and integration with portions of new construction. I was also in charge of coordinating lighting and mechanical systems within areas with both exposed historical structure and acoustic treatments.
